We believe that Bible-based One-Step recovery ministries are more effective
and successful than programs based on other, weaker foundations, because:

·                God’s wisdom, found in the Bible, is greater than man’s wisdom found in
psychological theories; and God’s power to deliver men and women from dependency
on chemical substances is greater than the weakness of the counsel of men.

·                God’s gospel of Jesus Christ, the Savior, can free men not only from
chemical addiction, but from every form of bondage to destructive patterns of behavior
that arise from the fleshly, natural, fallen old human nature that all men start out with.

·                God’s Son, Jesus Christ, delivers not only from bondage to the flesh and
sin and death, but to the glorious liberty of the sons of God, new life as a new creation
on earth, and eternal life with God and Christ in Heaven. Psychology, philosophy,
“good ideas” and twelve-step programs cannot.
